NATURE

There are two Regional  Parks close to Podere Prasiano:

Parco dei Sassi di Roccamalatina
From the valley of the Panaro river, the park rises into a hilly landscape that has a rich history. At the center of the park, the famous towering peaks of the Sassi di Roccamalatina, spectacular sandstone rocks which, with their great resistance to erosion, dominate the surrounding territory. The vertical walls are home to a rich flora in addition to the nesting Peregrine Falcon. 
The medieval villages and the austere church of Trebbio are surrounded by natural landscapes that will appeal to hiking freaks. 

Parco del Frignano
The Tuscan-Emilian Apennines is the part of the northern Apennines that separates Tuscany from Emilia-Romagna. The highest peak is Monte Cimone (2165 meters). The park of Frignano, also called Parco Regionale dell'Alto Appennino Modenese, has an area of 15,000 hectares and can boast a natural environment as well as a many elements of historic and cultural value, such as the numerous churches, chapels, altarpieces, metati (buildings for drying chestnuts), villages, castles and towers, that through their stones still give us fragments of a living history.
