There is a different local market to visit every morning of the week: whether you are looking for food, clothes, shoes, handicrafts, house-ware or antiques, you will find a vast array of products at affordable prices.

Mercato storico Albinelli in Modena 
Inaugurated in 1931, the Albinelli market is the oldest covered market of the town and is considered to be among the most beautiful in Italy. The square where are situated the fruits and vegetables counters is framed by little meat, salami and cheese shops. But we have not to forget the fresh fish, exposed in the typical counters made of pink marble if Verona, the gallery of bread, the pastries, the little corn shops, the sandwiches in the characteristic bar Schiavoni.

Mercato delle Erbe - aperitif in Bologna 
From stalls to furnished tables: the place in Bologna that is always open for shopping (it's a covered market by day), for aperitifs it transforms and fills up from Monday to Saturday with young people who pour into the innumerable bars. You can't go wrong visiting the Mercato delle Erbe of Bologna!
